Do you like perfectly staged live events? Are you fascinated by the symbiosis of live communication and digital transformation? As a Bachelor of Event Management (B.A.), you are equipped with the complete interdisciplinary and intersectoral knowledge. The focus is on trend topics such as sustainability management, digitalisation of events and crisis management. 

Your future main tasks as an event manager include the conception, planning and implementation of events of all kinds. Including communication, budget responsibility and evaluation. Especially for business events, MICE events (Meeting, Incentive, Congress, Exhibition) - on a national and international level. Your intercultural and ethical skills will be trained accordingly. What do you need to be a successful event manager? In any case, a sound scientific and practical education in business administration and economics. With the most modern management methods, which have been specially adapted to the event industry, so that you can later directly take on specialist and management tasks. 

Are you interested in tourism and hospitality in addition to the event industry? This is also included in your bachelor's degree in event management. Not enough yet? Then specialise further. As an event manager, you are responsible for the planning, organisation and implementation of all kinds of events. You take care of the smooth running in all phases. From on-site security requirements to logistical details. You stage large brand experiences in the B2B or B2C sector. But small webinars and congresses can also be your day-to-day business. Depending on the size of the company or event agency.  

Event Project Manager (m/f/d)

As a project manager, you are primarily responsible for the organisation and execution of exciting event projects. These are often projects that recur again and again. For example, special trade fairs, congresses or customer events. For this reason, as an event project manager you are usually employed by larger companies or trade fair organisers. In addition to planning, you will also be required to manage the practical implementation and budget planning. This includes later evaluation of the event.  

Sales Manager in the event sector (m/f/d)

Your main task? The marketing of events. You acquire customers, sponsors and advertising partners and conduct the corresponding contract negotiations. At the same time, you coordinate all deadlines and ensure that the budget is adhered to. As a sales manager, you definitely need a certain sales skill and must be practised in dealing with customers. Then you can take off - as a Sales Manager:in for all types of events.
