IU informs about fake study
We at IU International University of Applied Sciences (IU) would like to inform you that there is currently a fake study for a dissertation in circulation.
The fake study is being conducted by a person who claims to be a doctoral student at IU International University of Applied Sciences. Participants are being sought who would like to take part in an "investigation of framing effects in the context of the impression management approach according to Erving Goffman using the example of self-perceived smoking behavior".
The documents use the IU logo as well as mentioning fictitious reviewers by name.
The IU International University of Applied Sciences is in no way connected with this fake study and the associated search for participants.
There is currently no possibility to obtain a doctoral degree at IU.
