IU INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES ANNOUNCES “IU OXFORD CERTIFICATE PROGRAMME”

Study abroad programme at Worcester College (University of Oxford) for IU students

 

  • IU International University of Applied Sciences offers intensive residential study abroad programme at Worcester College (University of Oxford) for students in business management and computer science/ AI

 

Erfurt, Germany 16 August 2022. IU International University of Applied Sciences (IU) students are invited to join the “IU Oxford Certificate Programme”, offered by Worcester College (University of Oxford), in September. The programme is an intensive short-term academic study abroad summer programme exclusively designed for IU students interested in business management and computer science/AI courses. It is offered by Worcester College, one of the constituent colleges of the globally top-ranked University of Oxford.

Around 100 IU students already have signed up for the programme. Participants may choose to take part in the intensive one-, or two-week programme worth 5 ECTS per week. Through this new collaboration, IU has aligned its courses with that of Oxford, offering its students a world-class curriculum that can be easily applied toward 113 English language and 137 German language degree programmes at IU. Students participating in the IU Oxford Certificate Programme will be taught by leading academics, including professors, academic tutors and lecturers, senior post-doctoral researchers and PhD students from the University of Oxford and/ or the University of Cambridge.

After successful completion of the programme, participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance and Achievement, as well as an academic transcript issued by Worcester College (University of Oxford).

The 2022 cohort of students will be the first IU International University of Applied Sciences students participating in this tailor-made programme with Worcester College (University of Oxford). The plan is to offer the IU Oxford Certificate Programme each year in September.
