IUBH RECEIVES MOST TOP RATINGS AMONG ALL GERMAN UNIVERSITIES IN CHE-RANKING

FIRST PLACE IN MOST CATEGORIES IN BWL AND SOCIAL WORK

Erfurt, 5 May 2020 - A top performance: In the current CHE ranking, Germany's largest university ranking, the IUBH International University of Applied Sciences achieves top values. In the subjects Business Administration (face-to-face study) and Social Work (dual study), it achieves top scores in the categories "Support by lecturers", "General study situation" and "Practical relevance", among others. With victories in six of a total of 25 categories, it received the highest number of top ratings among more than 300 competitors.

"An absolutely great result," Prof. Dr. Peter Thuy, Rector of the IUBH, is pleased to say. "The large practical part as well as the close support of our students are essential core elements of our philosophy. The good results strengthen our conviction that academic orientation and practical relevance are not a contradiction in terms."

About the CHE University Ranking

With around 120,000 students surveyed and more than 300 universities and universities of applied sciences (HAW) as well as dual universities and universities of cooperative education (Berufsakademien) examined, the CHE ranking is the most comprehensive and detailed comparison of universities in the German-speaking world. It has been compiled by the Centre for Higher Education Development (CHE) since 1998 and has been published in cooperation with the weekly newspaper "Die Zeit" since 2005. The primary aim is to inform first-year students and students changing universities about the study opportunities and conditions in the respective fields of study.Each subject is re-evaluated every three years, this year the field of Business Administration of the IUBH Campus Studies as well as Social Work of the IUBH Dual Studies.
