Practical project

Practical project: Industrial Engineering 4.0

At the beginning, you look for a company with which you will work during your project. In consultation with the company, you choose a concrete task. Possible use cases are, for example, the areas of sustainability, smart home or autonomous driving. To work on your task, you will use the knowledge about concepts, methods and tools that you have acquired during your studies. You will summarise the results of solving your task in a written paper.

Practical project: Hackathon

In this module, you learn to apply central methods to find a practical solution to a relevant problem and explain it to an interested audience. You choose your task from areas such as electromobility, robotics, data analytics, process automation or digital business models. You work on your topic with the help of a suitable prototyping environment: this can be hardware (e.g. prototyping boards such as the Arduino) or software (e.g. technology-specific development environments such as Matlab). At the end, you present your result in a project presentation.
