KITA-KOMPASS DIVERSITY

The question of how to deal constructively with diversity in day-care centres is extremely relevant both for Germany as an educational location with equal opportunities (educational policy perspective) and with a view to peaceful and meaningful coexistence in diversity (socio-political perspective). 

The KiTa-Kompass Vielfalt (KiTa-Kompass Diversity) is the first annual nationwide survey of professional staff and parents on their attitudes, experiences and suggestions for change in the context of KiTa and diversity. In an increasingly heterogeneous and pluralistic society, diversity is particularly visible in early childhood education institutions. The KiTa-Kompass Diversity aims to provide empirical data for professional and political discourses in this context.
