IU STARTS TEACHING OPERATIONS
In 2000, IU (then IUBH) began teaching in Bad Honnef as the first university in Germany to offer digital as well as analogue learning. In 2016, it was the first university in the world to introduce online exams in distance learning and quickly became the largest university in Germany.

INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS
To help more and more people around the world achieve personal growth through education, IU initiates important alliances. The Study Access Alliance, for example, provides 100,000 scholarships in Africa, while the Study Abroad Alliance enables IU students to graduate from a partner university in North America, Europe or Australia.
