IU STARTS TEACHING OPERATIONS
In 2000, IU (then IUBH) began teaching in Bad Honnef as the first university in Germany to offer digital
as well as analogue learning. In 2016, it was the first university in the world to introduce online
exams in distance learning and quickly became the largest university in Germany.
