Reaching customers via digital channels, putting companies in the right light with clever PR strategies or take over corporate communications: The activities in the communications industry are varied and exciting. As a public relations manager, for example, you are jointly responsible for how your company is perceived. Our Bachelor's degree course in Public Relations & Communication prepares you for this challenge with business fundamentals, media knowledge, PR expertise and know-how from the online world. What makes it special: Each semester you will complete your own projects and gradually build up your personal portfolio. A perfect basis for your applications after graduation.
*Subject to approval by the Thuringian Ministry of Economy, Science and Digital Society. We expect the approval by the Ministry at the latest at the start of the study. So far, we have always received it on time.

Degree: B.A., 180 ECTS credits Study
Duration: 6 Semesters
Admission: A-levels (Technical Diploma), Subject-specific higher education entrance qualification or possible without A-levels. Please find further information under Admission.
Study Model & Examinations
Regular classes led by lecturers from the field at the location or virtual campus. In addition, digital self-study to prepare for face-to-face meetings. In addition, digital self-study to prepare for attendance phases. Exams can be taken at your location or flexibly online.
Courses
2-3 days per week in the attendance phase. Practical work with your fellow students under the guidance of experienced lecturers. Days and times vary depending on location/semester.

Accrediation
We expect approval from the Ministry no later than the start of the program. To date, all IU International University programs have been successfully accredited and approved on time.
Tuition Fees
399€ per month (plus 699€ graduation fee at the end of the program). All your learning and teaching material is already included in the fees.

Course overview
The myStudium Public Relations & Communication provides you with basic business and media knowledge, such as marketing and media production. Building on this, the focus is on subject-specific skills, for example "Press Strategy and PR Controlling" or "Digital Editorial Management".
Our Bachelor's degree program has a modular structure, i.e. you study based on subject areas that are divided into modules. After successfully completing the modules, you will be credited with ECTS points (European Credit Transfer System), which document your achievements. These ECTS points are internationally comparable and of course recognized.
