Dual Studies Benefits

We deliberately do not impose an NC. Instead, we find out together where your talents and strengths lie.

You learn the theory at one of our study locations or virtually and independent of location. You complete the practical part on site at a local company.

We have over 35 study locations across Germany plus the virtual campus. That way you can network with people from all over Germany.

You will learn from lecturers who have practical experience in their field and can discuss questions from your everyday working life with them.

Overcrowded lecture halls? Not with us. We teach in small groups, which means you can actively participate and benefit from a greater learning effect.

IU is state-recognised and accredited. 2 out of 3 students are taken on by their practice partner after graduation.

With our network of more than 15,000 practice partners, we will help you find the right company for your practice stages.

You can apply all year round - some degree programmes start 4x a year: on 1 January, 1 April, 1 July and 1 October!
