As a company’s communications manager, you are responsible for ensuring that internal and external communication runs smoothly and increases the brand's presence. Your tasks include the conception and implementation of PR strategies, management consulting, coaching, and the execution of campaigns. Confident handling of crises and extreme situations as well as change management should not be a problem for you.
As a brand manager, it is your job to strategically develop, position, and coordinate a company's brand or image. The aim is to develop a brand so that it has a high recognition value and stands out from other competitors. Your job includes cross-product strategy planning using effective external communication. As a brand manager, you will design innovative, cross-channel media campaigns that will be implemented, analysed, and optimised nationally and internationally.
As a marketing manager, you are responsible for the development, planning, and implementation of a company’s marketing strategies. You continuously manage and monitor all marketing activities and the achievement of the defined marketing goals. Generally, a completed undergraduate degree with a subject-related focus in the respective IU Master's program is a requirement for admission. The first undergraduate degree must have been successfully completed at a state or state-recognized college/university and with a final grade of at least "satisfactory". If the first degree does not include a subject-related focus, admission to the program can also be granted if the student has completed a related professional activity.
For English language degree courses, a proof (TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo, Cambridge or equivalent proof, e.g. through the free IU English course.) of sufficient English language skills is required.
