In the dual degree programme Culinary Management, you learn what you need to make a career in the hotel and catering industry or the food industry. Beyond the craft of cooking, you will deal with questions such as 'What is part of a good gastronomy concept?' or 'What role do business management issues play in this? The content of your studies ranges from business basics to kitchen technology and quality management, as well as hygiene and nutrition to marketing and human resource management. During this dual degree programme, you will also gain important work experience.

What awaits you in the dual study programme Culinary Management
Kitchen technology, quality management, hygiene, personnel planning, nutritional science... The tasks in Culinary Management are versatile. We prepare you for them:
- You will gain general knowledge and in-depth insights into the hotel and catering industry.
- You will learn methodological skills that will enable you to make independent organisational, planning and managerial decisions.
- A combination of kitchen practice and scientific methods of business administration and law prepares you to combine organisational and management skills with subject-specific knowledge.
This is an exemplary curriculum. The order of the modules may vary depending on the start of the program.
We will offer this program as Bachelor Food Management (B.A.) from October 2023.
