A wealth of IT knowledge in a single study programme. The Master’s in DevOps and Cloud Computing focuses on two key areas: DevOps – the integration of software development (Dev) and IT operations (Ops) – and cloud computing. The latter refers to the on-demand provision of computing power, storage, networks and platform services. This convergence addresses the increasing digital interconnection of the working world and enables more flexible, scalable IT infrastructures. Through these and other core IT competencies, students acquire the necessary expertise to plan and manage DevOps culture and cloud platforms. This reduces the workload on teams, promotes agile and effective working – and strengthens corporate culture.

As a professional in DevOps and Cloud Computing, you can expect excellent career prospects with good opportunities for advancement. After graduation, you can work as a ...

Your role involves creating, automating and operating CI/CD pipelines. In doing so, you will integrate development environments, artefact management and IT operations. In addition, you will use Infrastructure as Code to provide a scalable self-service platform and automate cloud and container infrastructures. You’ll maintain an overview by implementing monitoring, logging and tracing for applications and platforms, both on-premises and in the cloud. In doing so, you’ll accelerate releases and ensure security, compliance and stability.
As a DevOps/MLOps Consultant, you will introduce modern working practices and bridge the gap between development, data science and IT operations. You will automate data and model workflows, version control data and models, and reliably deploy ML models into production. You will build scalable cloud environments, monitor applications and models, and ensure that everything remains secure, compliant and up to date.
Your focus is on designing and developing multi-cloud architectures tailored to specific needs. You protect your clients’ data through consistent security and compliance strategies, as well as cross-cloud network and IAM designs. You will also design and implement Infrastructure as Code, as well as monitoring, logging and auditing across multiple cloud platforms. You will often work alongside an IT team. Together, you will ensure the sourcing of IT services, portability and interoperability, and manage the migration of software and systems to the cloud.

Completed undergraduate degree in business informatics or computer science / IT with at least 180 ECTS
Your degree must be from a state or state-approved higher education institution/university
You must have achieved a final grade of at least “satisfactory” or Grade C equivalent to the German grade “befriedigend” in your previous undergraduate degree
Alternatives to the minimum grade (120 ECTS credits)
If you have completed your bachelor's degree with a grade of "sufficient" or grade D equivalent to the German grade “ausreichend” (up to 4.0), you can still be admitted to a master's or MBA program. For this, you need:
A bachelor's degree (grade 3.5 - 4.0) from a state or state-approved higher education institution/university
and
Relevant study achievements from a master's/MBA programme at a state or state-approved higher education institution/university relevant to the desired master's/MBA programme, with a minimum of 40 ECTS credits
or
A relevant completed master's/MBA degree from a state or state-approved higher education institution/university

Exception: To be admitted to the master's programme in Architecture (120 ECTS credits), you must have completed your undergraduate degree with a final grade of at least "good” or grade B equivalent to the German grade "good" (up to 2.5).
Is your undergraduate degree not in the required subject field for the 120 ECTS programme's admission requirements? You can still apply! You'll have to take 2 specific courses from your study programme and successfully complete them before you can start your studies.
Recognition of knowledge and abilities acquired outside of higher education is possible in principle.
The alternative admission requirements represent individual exceptions to the aforementioned General Admission Requirements and ensure that you are qualified to access a master's degree programme. Admission is granted at the discretion of the institution.

Sehr empfehlenswert
