Content of the Dual myStudium study model Electrical engineering
As part of the dual study program in electrical engineering, we provide you with the necessary theoretical foundation that is essential for a successful career as an electrical engineer. We place particular emphasis on practical relevance. Each semester includes a practical project in which you apply state-of-the-art methods and tools such as Matlab, Python or EAGLE.
You will acquire basic mathematical and scientific knowledge as well as electrical engineering skills. You will deal intensively with the basic principles of circuits and have the opportunity to implement your own electrical circuits. We also focus on the application of electrical engineering in the context of complex technical systems. Through interactive teaching methods and special modules such as "Introduction to Programming in Python", you will acquire methodological and interdisciplinary skills that will prepare you optimally for your future career.

ENGINEER FOR AUTOMATION TECHNOLOGY
Your responsibilities include constructing and assembling mechanical, electrical and electronic components for complex automation systems. You will develop, install, maintain and repair automated machines and systems. You will also program the regulation and control programmes.

ENGINEER FOR ENERGY TECHNOLOGY
You will be responsible for developing, assembling, installing and operating electrical, electronic and power engineering machines and systems. Maintenance and repair will also be part of your duties. In addition, you will advise on energy issues and communicate regularly with the sales department.

ENGINEER FOR INFORMATION & TELECOMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY
You will plan, install, configure and maintain information and communication technology systems, components and devices. You will mainly work with fixed networks, mobile phones and internet systems. Customer service and user support will also be part of your tasks.
