IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION AND UPBRINGING OF CHILDREN
Your fields of work are not limited to daycare centres. You can also work in all-day schools, multi-generation houses, children's recreational facilities and HZE (Hilfe zur Erziehung) facilities. You will work directly with the children and use your expertise to contribute to the educational concepts for children. You will accompany them in their individual development and support them.

IN THE CONTEXT OF LEADING AND MANAGING FACILITIES
As the head of a facility, you will have educational as well as conceptual and administrative tasks. You will use your knowledge to shape the living environment, education and upbringing of children. You can reflect on social and political developments and promote the inclusion of all children. At the same time, you will lead and support the academic staff of the facility and be the contact person for the parents

IN THE COUNSELLING CONTEXT
There are many very different counselling services for children and their parents. Examples would be family and educational counselling centres. It is also possible to work in therapeutic processes, especially as an accompanying specialist. The focus here is on supporting children and parents, for example, through remedial programmes.
