Your start into dual studies at IU
We want you to achieve your professional goals studying with us. That's why the focus of your application is on you as a person with different talents and interests and not on the grade point average of your school-leaving certificate. We do not have a numerus clausus - instead, you will have the IU interview with your study advisor where you will talk about your wishes and goals and together you will find out in which areas your strengths lie.
Admission requirements
You can be admitted to the dual study programme if you have the IU interview with your study advisor and meet one of the following requirements:

without Highschool diploma
Design aptitude test
Secure your study place
Study without an NC!
We deliberately do not impose a numerus clausus - instead, we talk to you personally and find out together where your talents and strengths lie and what goals you are pursuing with your studies.
HZB from abroad
As a foreign student applicant, you must have a higher education entrance qualification (HZB) that is equivalent to the German one. When applying, you must prove that you have at least German language skills at B2 level. In addition, you will have an individual IU interview with your study advisor.
