Dual study program as an employer: Your Benefits
Find employees free of charge
Finding suitable applicants - without time-consuming recruiting? This is included for our practice partners. Tailored to your individual personnel requirements, we provide you with carefully selected junior staff - free of charge and without any obligation. We draw on our applicant pool of 140,000 interested candidates per year.
Qualified applicants
When pre-selecting applicants, we also look for soft skills and other qualifications. As a result, our students are on average better qualified than trainees - and on comparable terms overall. Our practice partners are convinced of the quality of the applicants: over 90% consider their qualifications to be high.
Train specialists yourself
Our dual study model enables you to secure skilled workers in the long term: you train young talent internally and retain them in your company at an early stage. After completing their studies, graduates are immediately ready for work - you can save yourself costly and time-consuming induction phases.

All of our programs are certified and have received numerous awards. The IU is state-recognized and system-accredited by the FIBAA. Our curricula have a strong practical orientation - after all, our lecturers themselves come from a practical background.

Dual study models
DUAL STUDY
In the Dual Study model at IU, students regularly alternate between theoretical courses at IU and practical phases at the company: You spend half of the time working 20 hours at your company and the other half studying at IU. You can organize your working hours individually according to your requirements. At IU International University (IU), we offer our students an innovative and contemporary teaching concept:
Our face-to-face events, which take place both on site and virtually, focus on personal exchange in real time.
In addition, core module content is developed and deepened independently in self-study phases.
DUAL MYSTUDIUM
The Dual myStudium program gives you and your students maximum flexibility. With voluntary face-to-face or virtual courses on up to 2 days per week, the course can be adapted to suit you and your students' schedules. Students work 20 hours a week at your company. Compulsory online courses take place every semester for in-depth practical reflection.

With the virtual campus, you can find qualified junior staff wherever you are. The theory takes place live via video conferencing. Your students complete their practical training on site at your company.

How you as an employer can offer a dual study program
1. Discuss requirements
Together with your personal contact person at IU, you define your individual personnel requirements and your preferred area of specialization.
2. Proposals received
In a 1:1 matching process, we compare your requirements with the profiles of our applicants. We then make an initial pre-selection of suitable candidates for you.
3. Select applicants
You will get to know your applicants in an interview and, if necessary, during a trial job. You then decide which of the candidates is the best fit for you.
4. Sign the contract
As soon as you have found suitable applicants, we will prepare the contract documents for you and your student. This administrative work is no longer necessary for you.
5. Off you go
After enrolling at IU, your preferred candidate can start the dual study program in the desired semester.
