IU is where your heart is 

You can register for myStudium as of now. Since most degree programmes can be started quarterly, you can start your studies on July, 1st, October, 1st, January, 1st, or April, 1st.  

When you apply, you choose one of our 26 study locations to participate in professionally guided tutorials and other events. If you don't have a campus nearby, you can also choose our virtual campus for maximum learning flexibility.

A part-time job is perfectly compatible with myStudium. Since the professionally guided tutorials take place on 2-3 days per week, you can always plan to have free days for a parallel job.

The myStudium programme adapts to your life, even if you are temporarily away from Germany. Semesters abroad are not a fixed part of the curriculum. However, you can easily integrate them because of the high flexibility. This means you can continue your studies at IU from anywhere.  

Regardless of whether you study on-site or virtually, there is always a group feeling. In small groups, you can talk to your fellow students as well as your lecturers in person at any time. While you have direct contact at your place of study, you have many opportunities for digital exchange on the virtual campus with interactive video conferences or channels on various topics. 

The discount is only available for first-time enrolments in our bachelor’s and master’s myStudies programmes until July 2nd, only to non-students of myStudies programmes of IU International University of Applied Sciences and is subject to availability. The programme must be commenced by July 1st, 2024, at the latest on one of our available starting dates.  

The first month of your studies is free of charge, if you decide against studying with us during this trial phase. If you continue with your distance learning programme, the first month counts as a regular month and will be charged as such. 

Every student who enrols at our university of applied sciences for the first time in a myStudies programme at IU International University of Applied Sciences and has their registered address in the European Union will receive an iPad (wifi compatible, bluetooth) to use free of charge for the duration of their studies. Participants with no registered address in the European Union can receive an iPad if they indicate a registered address within the European Union. Additional costs for data transmission apply. The iPad will be delivered to you by our external provider shortly after the beginning of your studies. This is subject to Apple’s availability. A delayed delivery from Apple results in a delayed delivery to the student. The iPad remains the property of the external provider for the entire duration of the distance learning contract. If the student completes their distance learning contract as per agreement and completes their degree successfully, the iPad becomes the property of the student once the distance learning contract runs out.  

If the distance learning contract ends prematurely (e.g. because one party cancels it or for other reasons), the student must return the iPad in functional condition within one week of the contract ending. The student bears the return costs of the carrier commissioned by the external provider. The external provider is responsible in case of technical defect, replacement of batteries or other technical issues. Further details can be found in the transfer of use agreement.
