You don't have to go through an arduous selection process or have waiting semesters credited to you, because none of our degree programmes have an NC. You can study Cyber Security at the Virtual Campus, which makes it possible to study anywhere in Germany and in a completely flexible way.
Yes, we also make this possible at IU. In addition to the entrance qualification in the form of an Abitur or Fachabitur, interested students without an Abitur also have the opportunity to enter our Bachelor's programme. You can study Cyber Security without an Abitur if you have completed an advanced training course (e.g. as a Chamber of Industry and Commerce business administrator), have a master craftsman's certificate or have at least two years of vocational training and at least three years of subsequent work experience.
The Cyber Security Bachelor’s programme lasts for 36, 48 or 72 months, depending on which time model you choose. If you need more time and semesters for your studies, this is absolutely no problem.
