IT Project Manager
As an IT project manager you plan, organise, and manage IT projects. You coordinate all the employees, departments, and external service providers involved, while always keeping an eye on the schedule and budget. Beyond carrying out projects properly, you are also responsible for achieving targets.
E-Commerce Project Manager
As a project manager in e-commerce, you will adapt your companies to the needs of the customer and their purchasing behaviour based on the knowledge of the market and technical know-how. You also handle the product range that is offered. Your primary responsibility is constant development and creation of added value for the customer. Technical know-how, market knowledge, and commercial experience are indispensable in this profession.
Research Project Manager
As a project manager in the field of research and development, your biggest challenge is strategically steering research investing intelligently in research efforts. Research teams have to constantly expose themselves to new situations since the requirements for the project only emerge in the course of the research project and cannot be specified precisely at the outset. That means you deal with a high level of technical complexity, sometimes unclear requirements, as well as flexible target definitions.

Generally, a completed undergraduate degree with a subject-related focus in the respective IU Master's program is a requirement for admission. The first undergraduate degree must have been successfully completed at a state or state-recognized college/university and with a final grade of at least "satisfactory". If the first degree does not include a subject-related focus, admission to the program can also be granted if the student has completed a related professional activity.
For English language degree courses, a proof (TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo, Cambridge or equivalent proof, e.g. through the free IU English course.) of sufficient English language skills is required.

A completed undergraduate degree with a specific thematic focus in the selected master's degree program. Alternatively, also professional activities with corresponding backgrounds can be accredited in individual cases. A degree from a state or state-recognized college/university with a final grade of at least "Satisfactory". Accreditation of knowledge and skills acquired outside of the university sector is generally possible. University entrance qualification as a foreign student applicant.
