Getting a degree after your vocational training: how much you can save
Depending on the vocational training you have completed and what you want to study at IU, you can reduce your study duration and tuition fees by having your previous achievements recognised. You will benefit particularly from your vocational training in our top-up study programmes.
Top-up study programmes: Graduate twice as fast
The IU top-up study programmes are programmes that build on specific vocational training and can only be completed if you have this training.
You will automatically be credited with 90 ECTS credits based on your vocational training.
Your study duration is reduced by 50% or 3 semesters.
You do not need to apply for recognition of previous achievements.
