Research projects are an essential element of the academic culture at a university. Research projects are often funded by public third-party funds - such as those from the European Union, the Federal Government or foundations such as the Volkswagen Foundation. Another way to ensure a particularly high level of application orientation is to cooperate with companies. The following is a list of IU's current research projects based on the type of funding they receive.
