You can complete the bachelor's degree in Elektrotechnik as a dual study programme at the Virtual Campus, which enables you to pursue your dual studies anywhere in Germany.
Yes, we also make that possible at the IU. In addition to the entrance qualification in form of an Abitur or Fachabitur, prospective students without an Abitur also have the opportunity to enter our bachelor’s programme. You can study Electrical Engineering without an Abitur if you are a state-certified technician/business economist, have a master craftsman's certificate or have at least two years of vocational training and at least three years of professional experience building on this.
The bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering through the distance learning programme lasts 36, 48, or 72 months, depending on which time model you choose.
