After your electrical engineering degree, you will have all the possibilities you need to work in classic fields of operation such as power engineering but also in information technology. For example as: 

Hardware and circuit developer

As an expert in hardware and circuit development, you are responsible for analysing product and customer requirements as well as translating them into corresponding hardware requirements. Creating circuits and partial circuits is also part of your profile. You take an entire range of tasks that includes circuit development, calculation, and simulation. You are also responsible for the cost and quality management as well as the independent documentation of your work. 

Production Engineer

As a specialised production engineer, you plan, manage, optimise, and monitor all production processes. This also includes selecting or developing the right machines for production. You also make cost and investment calculations to ensure present and future output. You are also responsible for designing new workplaces and determining productive staff scheduling.

Support Engineer

Which duties are in the foreground as a support engineer? You primarily advise and support employees in the use of specific software or hardware solutions as well as in the implementation of automated workflows and processes. You monitor the availability, security, and performance of systems, carry out functional tests, and maintain and check data interfaces. You are also the most important point of contact when it comes to analysing and resolving fault messages and ensuring system optimisation.
