The most important questions about studying Product Management
At IU, you are the centre of attention. Your numerus clausus (NC) is not only of secondary importance for your Product Management studies, it has no influence on your admission. No degree programme at IU is subject to NC. Before you start studying, we prefer to talk to you personally to find out where your strengths lie. Together we will find the right programme to help you achieve your goals.
You can currently complete your Bachelor's degree in Product Management at the Virtual Campus. This means that you can study anywhere in Germany.
Yes, this is also possible at IU. In addition to the entrance qualification in the form of an Abitur or Fachabitur, interested students without an Abitur also have the opportunity to enter our Bachelor's programme. You can study Product Management without an Abitur if you have completed an advanced training programme, have a master craftsman's certificate or have completed at least two years of vocational training and have at least three years of professional experience.
The Product Management Bachelor's programme lasts for 36, 48 or 72 months, depending on which time model you choose. If you need more time and semesters for your studies, this is absolutely no problem.
The salary outlook for product managers varies. How much a person in this position earns depends on the industry, location and personal qualifications, among other things. The length of service often also plays a role. According to the salary atlas of the Federal Employment Agency, the average salary for product managers is 4804 euros, with a range between about 3515 and 6000 euros.
