Yes, it is possible to study UX Design without an entrance qualification in the form of an Abitur or Fachabitur. Interested students without an Abitur can be admitted to UX Design at IU if they have a master craftsman's certificate, have completed an advanced training programme or can prove that they have completed a vocational training programme lasting at least two years and have three years of full-time professional experience.
The UX Design Bachelor's programme lasts for 36, 48 or 72 months in distance learning. You simply choose the time model that best suits your plans. If you need longer or want to alternate between more intensive or more relaxed study, this is absolutely no problem.
