User Requirements Engineer
As an expert
at the intersection of use and implementation, you understand and define the context of use. With this knowledge, you design appropriate solutions. You develop methods to avoid errors concerning usability. At all times, you understand how to include the user’s point of view in the development process. This makes you not only indispensable for the industry but also unique because you make an important contribution to the success of a product, early on in the process.
Unser Interface Designer
As a UI designer, you mainly deal with the user interfaces with which users interact. In particular, you ensure that the interaction between humans and machines runs smoothly on every platform. The aim is that humans feel comfortable controlling the interaction. This makes it easier for users to make operational decisions. As an expert in this area, you ensure that the user interface fulfils its purpose and function. This means that the interface is intuitive, efficient, and pleasant to use.
As a usability engineer, you analyse computer systems in terms of their usability and make suggestions for optimisation. The focus is not on visual aesthetic design, but on target group-specific understandability. This includes the user-friendly visual preparation and presentation of information (usability). During its development, you work on the conception, evaluation, and implementation of user interfaces for different end devices.
