Programme manager in an advisory capacity for a Federal Ministry (m/f/d)
As head of a programme such as Global Health, you will take on tasks in an advisory capacity, such as providing technical and strategic advice to a Federal Ministry, taking care of personnel management and leading a project team, or building up an international network.
Senior Associate in the healthcare field (m/f/d)
As a Senior Associate in the healthcare sector at a consulting firm, you will be responsible for project management, technical consulting, team leadership and management, building a network, implementing strategies and projects and documenting the results for clients.
Employee in a health department (m/f/d)
As an employee of a health department, you will plan and hold lectures and training sessions at day-care centres, companies and schools, you will advise health supervisors and will be an expert in public relations. Other areas where your expertise is in demand are hospital and community hygiene, and you will also take care of health protection measures in the area of infection control and environmental safety or disaster control.

Generally, a completed undergraduate degree with a subject-related focus in the respective IU Master's program is a requirement for admission. The first undergraduate degree must have been successfully completed at a state or state-recognized college/university and with a final grade of at least "satisfactory". If the first degree does not include a subject-related focus, admission to the program can also be granted if the student has completed a related professional activity.
For English language degree courses, a proof (TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo, Cambridge or equivalent proof, e.g. through the free IU English course.) of sufficient English language skills is required.

A completed undergraduate degree with a specific thematic focus in the selected master's degree program. Alternatively, also professional activities with corresponding backgrounds can be accredited in individual cases. A degree from a state or state-recognized college/university with a final grade of at least "Satisfactory". Accreditation of knowledge and skills acquired outside of the university sector is generally possible. University entrance qualification as a foreign student applicant.
In this distance learning programme for the 60 ECTS, we offer you the opportunity to qualify for a Master's programme even without a Bachelor's degree: through many years of professional experience as a manager or expert.
Admission requirements are:
University entrance qualification
- A-levels/ vocational diploma or
- Completed vocational training of at least 2 years (DQR level 4) relevant to your preferred study programme and
- Master craftsman’s certificate / advanced training relevant to your preferred study programme (at least level DQR 6)
- At least 10 years of professional experience relevant to your preferred study programme, of which at least 6 years in a leading or expert role (at least level DQR 6)
Successful master’s entrance exam at IU
- The master’s entrance exam at IU International University of Applied Sciences consists of two parts:
- Term paper (approx. 40 pages), allotted time: 12 weeks (fulltime)
- Oral exam (30 minutes)
