Scholarships for your financial independence

Are you looking for an easy way to reduce your tuition fees, preferably for the entire duration of your studies at IU?

It could not be easier: At IU, we award a total of four scholarships every month to people with particularly inspiring backgrounds. In addition, there are many other support measures available to you, which you can use to help finance your monthly tuition fees. We will briefly introduce you to the various options available.

IU Scholarship – for special people with special goals

Every month we award a total of four 50% scholarships to selected individuals who are not yet enrolled at IU International University of Applied Sciences. With the IU scholarship, we primarily support people with disabilities, women in tech, single parents or new beginners who want to follow their very own educational path.

Deutschlandstipendium – for particularly gifted students

Are you particularly talented, capable and already enrolled at IU? If you would like to receive financial support for your first degree, second degree, supplementary degree or Master's degree, the best thing to do is apply for a Deutschlandstipendium from the federal government. In this way, you can secure a welcome relief of 300 euros per month.

That's what our students say

“All in all, I find that the various funding measures at IU are a good way to reduce tuition fees. After all, applying for an IU scholarship costs nothing and, in the worst case, it is only rejected. So you can't really lose anything."“

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMMES FROM OTHER ORGANISATIONS

In addition to the IU scholarship and the federal government’s Deutschlandstipendium, there are also numerous other scholarship programmes provided by non-profit foundations. Depending on the scholarship, the amount of financial support varies from 597 euros per month to 7,200 for your entire degree at IU.
