Yes, this is also possible at IU. In addition to the entrance qualification in the form of an Abitur or Fachabitur, interested students without an Abitur also have the opportunity to enter our Bachelor's programme. You can study Communication Psychology without an Abitur if you have completed an advanced training programme, have a master craftsman's certificate or have at least two years of vocational training and at least three years of professional experience.
The Communication Psychology Bachelor's programme lasts for 36, 48 or 72 months, depending on which time model you choose. If you need more time and semesters for your studies, this is absolutely no problem.
The goal of Communication Psychology is to understand and optimise relationships and communication processes. People and information are therefore at the centre of this course of study. Both are resources that play a role in every company and organisation. Therefore, communication psychologists can be found across all industries.
