Your IU studies in Nursing Management
In your Nursing Management degree programme, you will learn what you need for your successful work in health care institutions. During the Bachelor's programme, you will build up knowledge in Business Administration, Medicine, Technology, Health Economics and Pedagogy. You get to know and understand the current legal regulations in the nursing sector. The most important questions about studying Nursing Management
For your Nursing Management studies at IU, the numerus clausus (NC) from the Abitur or Fachabitur is irrelevant. You can be admitted directly to our distance learning programme. In the individual counselling interview with your study advisor, your strengths are also in the foreground, so that you can find the right degree programme and the right form of study for your future aspirations.
You can currently complete your Bachelor's degree in Nursing Management at the Virtual Campus. This means that you can study anywhere in Germany.
Yes, this is also possible at IU. In addition to the entrance qualification in the form of an Abitur or Fachabitur, interested students without an Abitur also have the opportunity to enter our Bachelor's programme. You can study nursing management without an Abitur if you have completed an advanced training programme, have a master craftsman's certificate or have at least two years of vocational training and at least three years of professional experience.
The Nursing Management Bachelor's programme lasts for 36, 48 or 72 months, depending on which time model you choose. If you need more time and semesters for your studies, this is absolutely no problem.
If you have completed training as a state-recognised health and paediatric nurse, you can study Nursing Management at IU. The prerequisite is that you have worked full-time in a health profession for three years in addition to your training or, alternatively, that you have a master craftsman's certificate or advanced training. You can have your previous achievements from training or further education recognised. This shortens your study time.
