Employees in tax consulting companies are the people to contact on all questions relating to taxes and finances - from private clients to major international corporations. The demand for tax advisors is high, and your career opportunities and salary prospects are therefore excellent. In the dual degree programme in Business Administration with a specialisation in Tax Consultancy, we prepare you for the diverse tasks in tax consultancy - in a very practical way. By the way: With the successful completion of your studies, you have the option of a shorter examination to become a tax advisor.

You complete your degree programme with courses on campus. You will learn in small groups, can actively participate and ask questions. You will apply what you have learnt in projects and at work with your practice partner.

System accredited. The IU is state-recognized and system-accredited by the FIBAA. All degree programs are individually accredited and thus bear the seal of the Accreditation Council.
What awaits you in the dual study programme BWL - Steuerberatung
During your studies, you will deal with current challenges and trends and learn to understand and shape decisions, strategies and processes in companies.
You will get an overview of important regulations of the tax law and inheritance tax law.
You deal with the legal and formal foundations of international tax law.
You will become acquainted with reorganisation tax law and discuss special taxation issues.
You will receive general business administration know-how from the national and international environment, including the areas of investment and financing, budgeting and corporate planning.
You will take your specialization modules from the 6th semester.
This is an exemplary curriculum. The order of the modules may vary depending on the start of your studies. Furthermore, your semester is divided into two parts. This means that you always study two modules at the same time.
