Would you like to do something with technology as a career? In the dual study program in electrical engineering, you will learn the basics of electrical engineering and mathematics:
Electrical engineering and mathematical-scientific basics
Dealing with electrical engineering in the overall context of complex technical systems
Application of current software tools and a broad methodological competence
Your study model: dual myStudium
You acquire your knowledge independently on your digital learning platform myCampus. You learn wherever you want and organise your studies entirely according to your individual ideas - supported by innovative learning and teaching formats as well as your personal AI learning assistant Syntea.
In optional support sessions, you also have the opportunity to deepen what you have learnt either virtually via livestream or directly on campus in small groups and ask questions. Your studies will be complemented by practical experience, which you will gain 20 hours a week at your practice partner company.

What awaits you in the dual study programme Elektrotechnik
In the dual degree programme in Electrical Engineering, we provide you with the necessary theoretical know-how to work as an electrical engineer. The dual study programme in Electrical Engineering also focuses on practical relevance: Each semester, you complete a practical project using the latest methods and tools - for example, Matlab, Python or EAGLE.
You will acquire basic knowledge in Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Electrical Engineering. You will deal with the essential elements of circuits and create your own electrical circuits. You deal with Electrical Engineering in the overall context of complex technical systems. You acquire methodical and interdisciplinary skills through interactive forms of teaching and modules such as "Introduction to Programming in Python".
