You will be professionally educated to become a sought-after expert and manager in the Human Resources Management myStudium programme. You will learn how to find talent and retain it in a company for the long term. As a human resources manager, you will support new developments in management in a targeted manner. To do this, you will develop innovative concepts to implement flexible company structures and work processes consistently. You will gain a sound knowledge of business administration and acquire interdisciplinary social and methodological skills in addition to core human resources management competencies. This provides you with a secure basis for future leadership positions in the HR sector.

The modern, digital world of work has high demands on employees and companies. That's why you will deal with innovative strategic approaches in your studies – from personnel management to digital HR. You will receive the necessary economic basics in accounting, balance sheet management, personnel and business management while also learning how to inspire applicants for your company. At a later stage, you can choose between three mandatory elective modules with which you can further specialise.

The private bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management has a modular structure. This means that you will learn the different subject areas through various modules. For the completion of each module, you will earn ECTS points (European Credit Transfer System). These ECTS are internationally recognised.

Once you have filled in everything, we will send you your contract online. You will then need to upload important documents such as your university entrance qualification, ID with photograph or curriculum vitae. We will send you the relevant upload link by email.

Get Ready

When you start your studies, you will receive an email with all the access information that you will need for your studies: myCampus, IU Learn App, IU email address, Office 365. Your first event will take place within the first week: Your introductory event.

We are moving

From 01st March the virtual campus of the part-time studies programme is part of the IU distance learning programme and then takes place in this new environment.
