In Kiel, you will study right by the sea. Seagulls, the fresh smell of the sea and a stiff breeze included. The state capital of Schleswig-Holstein is located on the Baltic Sea, known among other things for the international sailing event Kiel Week and the German handball record champion THW Kiel.

The port and especially the ferry and cruise ship trade are fundamental to Kiel’s economy.
