This is what your Business Intelligence studies at IU look like
With a holistic view of the BI process, you will internalise the phases of business intelligence and how they relate to business success. Starting with operational company data, its preparation and modelling up to the visualisation of decision-relevant information (KPIs, etc.) for stakeholders or the company management. After graduating, you will be able to confidently develop business intelligence solutions and, in particular, skilfully implement relational data warehousing concepts. In short: Your Bachelor’s degree programme covers the entire business intelligence process chain and makes it clear why business intelligence is becoming increasingly important in the ever-growing data environment (Big Data).

The most important questions about studying Business Intelligence
IU does not have a numerus clausus (NC). Studying without an NC is totally possible, because it is important to us that you choose the degree programme that best suits you and your interests.
You can currently study our Bachelor of Business Intelligence at our Virtual Campus. This means that you can study anywhere in Germany.
Yes, this is possible at IU. In addition to the entrance qualification in the form of an Abitur or Fachabitur, interested students without an Abitur also have the opportunity to enter our Bachelor's programme. You can study Business Intelligence without an Abitur or a high school diploma if you have a master craftsman's certificate, have completed a further education course (such as an IHK Fachwirt) or have at least two years of vocational training and at least three years of subsequent work experience.
The Bachelor of Business Intelligence has a duration of 36, 48 or 72 months, depending on which time model you choose. If you need more time and more semesters for your studies, it will not be a problem.
