Why you should study Customer Centricity
As an academic, you have very high chances of working in better-paid positions, you are more secure and you are more flexible in planning your career. Sometimes, only a degree can lead to a certain profession and provides you with technical skills that will be useful for your future career. Apart from that, people with a degree are the least likely to be unemployed.
This is what your Customer Centricity studies at IU look like
Customer Centricity gives you all the skills that are important for a consistent focus on customer expectations and needs. Your studies will be based on the five steps of the “Path to a customer-centered company”, from a customer-centric mindset to the correct handling of data to digital transformation processes that are geared towards the target group. You’ll learn a lot about data-driven marketing, sustainable customer management and content marketing. You’ll deal with innovative processes such as design thinking, UX design or storytelling. After your Customer Centricity studies, you will have all the tools you need to fully focus on customer insights.
A look into the future: What you will be able to do after graduating
The more digital offers are established on the market, the higher the demand for customer centricity experts. With your degree in Customer Centricity, you will be welcome in marketing departments and online agencies all over the world. There, you will optimise business models within the framework of customer-centric ecosystems, measure the success of features, products and campaigns or track customer experiences on various channels. Everything here revolves around the further development of the digital experience of your customers.
The most important questions about studying Customer Centricity
A numerus clausus (NC) is not an issue at IU, we make it possible to study without an NC. We prefer to look at where your strengths and talents lie, so that you can study exactly what will bring added value to you and your environment. Accordingly, we do not have an NC. If you meet all the other requirements (see table and FAQs), nothing will stand in the way of successful start to your future.
You can study Customer Centricity at our Virtual Campus, which allows you to study anywhere in Germany.
Yes, this is possible at IU. In addition to the entrance qualification in the form of an Abitur or Fachabitur, interested students without an Abitur also have the opportunity to enter our Bachelor's programme. You can study Customer Centricity without an Abitur or a high school diploma if you have a master craftsman's certificate, have completed a further education course (such as an IHK Fachwirt) or have at least two years of vocational training and at least three years of subsequent work experience.
The Bachelor of Customer Centricity has a duration of 36, 48 or 72 months, depending on which time model you choose. If you need more time and more semesters or your studies, it will not be a problem.
