At IU, we deliberately refrain from offering Bachelor's degree programmes with a numerus clausus (NC). You do not have to prepare for an arduous selection process. On the other hand, we would like to talk to you personally to assess the areas in which your strengths and talents lie. We offer dual studies programmes in Berlin, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Fulda (virtual), Hamburg, Köln, München, Saarbrücken (virtual), Schwerin (virtual), Trier (virtual) and throughout Germany at the Virtual Campus.
It is possible to study at IU without an Abitur. In addition to the entrance qualification in the form of an Abitur or Fachabitur, interested students with alternative qualifications have the opportunity to enter our Bachelor's programme. You can study Industrial Engineering Management without an Abitur if you have completed an advanced training programme, have a master craftsman's certificate or have at least two years of vocational training and three years of additional work experience.
The Industrial Engineering Management Bachelor's programme lasts for 42 months in our dual studies programme. If you need more time and semesters for your studies, this is absolutely no problem.
Engineers are among the top earners in Germany. Industrial engineers earn particularly high salaries in telecommunications and vehicle construction. With a Bachelor's degree you already have good salary prospects, with a Master's degree even better. Statistically, the salary for industrial engineers is best in Baden-Württemberg, followed by Hesse and Bavaria. Brandenburg brings up the rear.
