Your career. The best of both worlds.
Whether business or engineering: you know what you're talking about. With a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering Management (B.Eng.), you’ll have every opportunity to work in sales, marketing, controlling, purchasing or product management. You will also be able to drive the digitalisation of companies even further, always with a high level of technical understanding. For example, you may become:
Technical Sales Representative (m/f/d)
Your job will be to sell technical products and services with confidence. As these are often complex topics, you will also be responsible for training customers so that they can use hardware or software components correctly. Your service orientation should be correspondingly high in order to provide the customer with comprehensive support both during and after the purchase. And in case of problems? You will also be there to give advice.
Technical Buyer (m/f/d)
You will be responsible for the economic procurement of technical goods and services required for production or service. You’ll collect offers and conduct price and condition negotiations. You’ll place orders with framework agreements, contracts for work and services or subcontracts. You will also be often responsible for supplier audits and active supplier management along the entire supply chain. The networking factor with suppliers is correspondingly high.
Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d)
Your primary task will be the coordination and optimisation of value-added and supply chains. You will also be responsible for ensuring that everything runs smoothly, from the procurement of raw materials, through production and logistics, to delivery. You will not only keep an eye on the material, but also ensure the necessary flow of information, as well as maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness. You’ll conduct contract negotiations and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
