We prepare you to make your guests feel at home at all times: you will be trained in hospitality and professional service for guests as well as the perfect organisation of supplies, finances, human resources and cost of sales using state-of-the-art economic methods. After completing your degree, you can work as …

As a rooms division manager, you make sure everything runs smoothly for your guests. You are in charge of reception as well as housekeeping. Tasks such as personnel management, budget planning and quality management are your responsibility. In addition, you look after your guests and are in direct contact with them.
Food doesn’t reach the table without you: As a food and beverage manager, you plan gastronomic projects independently and see them through. You always keep an eye on the budget for goods and personnel and are constantly evaluating and optimising processes for your upcoming projects. In addition, you are there for your guests.
How can you maximise the profit of your hospitality venture? As revenue manager, this question is for you to answer. You might, for example, calculate the room rate depending on season and prices of the competition. This means you have to observe the market, analyse and evaluate your price strategy and stay flexible in the face of change.

With vocational or high school diploma With a general university entrance qualification (high school diploma) or an entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences (vocational diploma: academic and practical part), you can enter our Bachelor's study programme* directly.
Graduates from Waldorf schools and vocational colleges in Baden-Württemberg must have their entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences confirmed by the relevant authority in order to be able to study in another federal state. This also applies if you want to study in a federal state other than Thuringia. Additional achievements may be required. Our student advisory team will answer any questions about this.

EU qualifications can be accepted as equivalent if your vocational qualification is comparable to a German vocational qualification at level DQR 4.
