What awaits you in the dual study programme BWL - Accounting & Controlling
You will deal with current challenges and trends during your studies and learn to understand and shape decisions, strategies and processes in businesses.
You will learn the basics of strategic controlling and how controlling works for specific areas, for example, purchasing, production, marketing and human resources management.
You will discuss the special features of controlling at financial institutions, insurance companies, commercial enterprises, public companies and non-profit enterprises.
You will acquire an understanding of the fundamentals of international accounting.
You will gain general business administration know-how from the national and international environment, including the areas of investment and financing, budgeting and corporate planning
You will take your specialization modules from the 3rd semester.
This is an exemplary curriculum. The order of the modules may vary depending on the start of your studies. Furthermore, your semester is divided into two parts. This means that you always study two modules at the same time.
