Conditions of Participation - Bring a Friend

BRING A FRIEND – STUDENTS

The requirements for receiving a bonus for the referral of a student or a participant are only fulfilled if the referred person enrolls in a study programme or other offer of the IU International University of Applied Sciences (hereinafter: IU), has started the study programme and the respective valid revocation period of the contract with the IU Internationale Hochschule GmbH has expired without a declaration to that effect. Recruited students in dual studies without a practice partner are excluded. For the payment of the bonus, it is essential that the recruited person indicates in the IU online application in the designated field, that they have been recruited. Once the online application has been submitted, it is no longer possible to add a recruiter. The recommendation is invalid if there was already contact between the recruited person and IU before the recommendation. Payment of the bonus in the IU myStudies attendance programme is excluded if the recruited person was (additionally) recruited through an agent. In addition, commercial marketing of the "Bring a Friend" promotion on own websites or within similar formats is expressly prohibited. Excluded from the "Bring a Friend" promotion are all employees of IU Group N.V. and its subsidiaries.



BRING A FRIEND – RECRUITER

The recruiter must be fully enrolled in or have successfully graduated from an IU International University of Applied Sciences degree programme or other offering at the time of the claim. The opportunity to refer includes IU International University of Applied Sciences’ current continuing education and degree offerings, except dual students without a practice partner. Excluded from the "Bring a Friend" promotion are all employees of the IU Group N.V. and its subsidiaries. In addition, commercial marketing of the "Bring a Friend" promotion on their own websites or within similar formats is expressly prohibited. Payment will be made within eight weeks after these conditions have been met. The cash reward will only be paid to persons who are resident in Germany or have an IBAN bank account. All others will receive a voucher in the amount of the respective cash reward as a substitute. The voucher will be sent within eight (8) weeks after the relevant requirements have been met.



BRING A COMPANY

The bonus for the referral of a practice partner in the dual study programme will only be paid if the company registers as a partner in the dual study programme (verbally or in writing) and actively acts as a partner. In doing so, the company may not yet cooperate with IU Internationale Hochschule GmbH (hereinafter: IU) as a practice company. If a study contract is concluded with a dual student of the potential practice partner, the amount will be paid within eight weeks thereafter, provided that the study contract is not withdrawn within the granted withdrawal period. In addition to dual students, companies and students from other units are also welcome to recommend companies as potential new practical partners. The following are excluded from the campaign to find a practice company: students of the dual study programme who change their practice company during their studies as well as applicants for the dual study programme who would like to recruit their future practice company. It is not possible to transfer the bonus to the person recruited or to third parties. In addition, the commercial marketing of the "Bring a Friend" campaign on the company's own websites or within similar formats is expressly prohibited. Excluded from the "Bring a Friend" promotion are all employees of the IU Group N.V. and its subsidiaries.

Language version

The English version of these Conditions of Participation is a translation which shall not have any binding effect and which is provided for information purposes only. The German version of these Conditions of Participation shall be the wording which is binding upon both parties. In case of any inconsistencies between the German and the English version of these Conditions of Participation, the German version shall prevail.
