Yes, this is possible at IU. In addition to the entrance qualification in the form of an Abitur or Fachabitur, interested students without an Abitur also have the opportunity to enter our Bachelor's programme. You can study Computer Science without an Abitur or a high school diploma if you have a master craftsman's certificate, have completed a further education course (such as an IHK Fachwirt) or have at least two years of vocational training and at least three years of subsequent work experience.
The Bachelor of Computer Science has a duration of 36, 48 or 72 months, depending on which time model you choose. If you need more time and more semesters for your studies, it will not be a problem.
