Thus, nothing stands in the way of starting your study programme at the earliest possible start date!
First, you’ll tackle the fundamentals of operating systems, computer networks, and distributed systems. You’ll study vital concepts in data protection and IT security and get introduced to programming with python. Next, you’ll deepen your knowledge in object-oriented and functional programming with python and start exploring network forensic methods. Mathematics, including analysis, and statistics are also key parts of your studies. Furthermore, you’ll delve into system pentesting fundamentals. you’ll enhance your skills in theoretical computer science, mathematical logic, social engineering, and insider threats, as well as technical and operational IT security concepts. You’ll also explore threat modelling and learn about information security standards. Projects will help you further refine your practical skills, setting you up for a successful career in Cyber Security. In addition, you have the option to expand your knowledge through elective modules in areas such as cybersecurity, cyberattacks, and forensics.
Elective modules: In elective areas a and b, you select two modules each. For elective area c, you decide at the start whether to undertake an internship with a company or follow the modules in elective area c. An internship concludes with practical reflection. If you opt for the modules from elective area c, all modules in this section must be completed. A mix of an internship and elective area c modules is not possible.

Top Uni - flexibel!

Einzigartig in Flexibilität
