Innovative library service thanks to FOLIO
IU launches live operation of the FOLIO library service platform
IU International University of Applied Sciences is now using the open source library service platform based on EBSCO's FOLIO services.
November 9, 2023. Germany’s IU International University of Applied Sciences (IU) has successfully adopted the FOLIO Library Services Platform (LSP) with implementation support from EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO), making it the first and largest in the country to adopt the LSP using hosting and support through EBSCO FOLIO Services.
IU pursues the goal of providing people around the world with access to personalised education in order to grow personally and create more educational equality. Thanks to the use of digital as well as state-of-the-art AI solutions, students can further their education anytime, anywhere.
EBSCO FOLIO will share in this mission to foster inclusive, global, and accessible education by providing streamlined and innovative workflow solutions to help IU evolve to ever-changing patron needs.
